Yards Brewing Night @ FWOT 9/15/10

Our next Keep the Pint Night will be with Philadelphia’s Own Yards Brewing Company on Wednesday September 15, 2010 from 7:30 – 9:30

All of the votes have been tallied and the most popular beers were Philadelphia Pale Ale and Thomas Jefferson Tavern Ale.  Thanks to everyone for their votes.

Yards Philadelphia Pale Ale: Not to be boastful, but we honestly believe that all other ales pale in comparison to this one. Brewed with pilsner malt, Philadelphia Pale Ale is crisp and hoppy, bursting with citrus flavors and aromas.

While Thomas Jefferson spent much of his time in Philadelphia drafting, editing, revising, and re-editing the Declaration of Independence, he longed to be home in Monticello, where twice a year his wife Martha would brew up one of his favorite beverages — beer.

Thomas Jefferson Tavern Ale™ is a strong golden ale, based on Jefferson’s original recipe, which included ingredients specified and grown on his Virginia estate.
